We weld the sheaves with a premium wire with exceptional crack resistance

 

The sheaves are fully stress relieved after welding

 

Modern Machine  Works’ flame hardening is second to none with Rockwell C scale readings above 55

 

We can pre-load your bearings and assemble if desired

 

The casting or fabricating of new sheaves is an increasingly good option as  many sheaves in the industry are showing signs of fatigue.  Modern Machine Works can design and cast your sheaves.
